I'm Wade Shuey, founder and owner of WSCS. At our firm, we thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver innovative solutions across a broad spectrum of sectors. Utilizing advanced technology like the Faro Laser Scanner, we consistently provide accurate, well-coordinated outcomes. Problem-solving drives our design philosophy—we believe every challenge presents an opportunity for creative solutions. Our key specialties include retail design, market environments, tenant improvements, residential and multi-family projects, as well as the transformation of existing commercial properties. From inception to renovation, our deep expertise ensures we adapt seamlessly and produce exceptional results. Committed to excellence, we operate exclusively with state-of-the-art BIM software such as Revit, ensuring every project benefits from a BIM-centered approach.

Our Team

Project Manager

George Marquez, a graduate from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, joined the WSCS Design team in 2017. Throughout his career, he has served as a Project Manager for over 22 years at various architectural firms. His experience spans diverse building types, including churches, commercial/industrial warehouses, office buildings, and government projects such as community centers, libraries, county jails, corporate yards, and community/mental hospitals. George’s project management expertise extends from the conceptual phase through construction administration. He is a prominent figure in the office, known for his meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Senior Designer

Pete Montanez, a graduate from Woodbury University School of Architecture with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, became a valuable member of the WSCS Design team in 2015. With 14 years of experience in the field, Pete plays a crucial role in creating working drawings, developing concept models, and mentoring interns. His expertise and dedication contribute significantly to our success.

Lead Architect

Reuben Wootton, a graduate from Texas A&M with a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Design and a Masters Degree in Architecture, is also licensed with the American Institute of Architects. With 24 years of experience in the field, Reuben has worked on various projects, including custom housing, additions, tenant improvements, commercial grocery stores, and industrial design. He joined the WSCS Design team as Lead Architect one year ago. Reuben’s quiet and hardworking demeanor undoubtedly contributes to his commitment to giving his all in every project he takes onn.

Owner and Principle

Wade Shuey, the Owner and Principal of WSCS Design, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design from ITT Technical Institute. With 19 years of experience in the field, Wade’s expertise extends beyond retail centers. His portfolio includes custom homes, housing developments, fire stations, industrial and commercial centers, gas stations, car wash facilities, recycling centers, and grocery chains. Wade is highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and he is well-versed in FARO laser scanning technology. His excellent rapport with clients and natural leadership abilities allow him to oversee employees and company performance effectively, consistently achieving outcomes that exceed client expectations.
