Here at WSCS Design, we endeavor to be viewed as a respected architectural firm, providing high quality design and services to our clients with honesty and integrity. We pride ourselves in meeting the needs of our client’s vision, we anticipate, adjust, re-evaluate, and respond. Newly established in 2012 by owner Wade Shuey, WSCS Design is an architectural practice with a portfolio of diverse projects. We specialize in retail, commercial office, supermarket, industrial/warehouse, multi-family, home design and tenant improvement.

WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO

The Studio

My Name is Wade Shuey and I am owner of WSCS. WSCS is a high pace design firm that focuses on a range of fields. We use the most cutting edge tools available in the market such as The Faro Laser Scanner to achieve and create coordinated receivables. We strive in being problem solvers, as that is what design is. Our current main field is in the retail, market, tenant improvement, home design, multi family and refreshing existing commercial buildings. We can focus on new or exsiting project as we have a wide array of experience. We only design in latest BIM software such as Revit and try to keep a BIM driven outlook.

Our Team

Project Manager

George Marquez is a graduate from Cal Poly Pomona and holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. George joined the WSCS Design team in 2017. He has served as Project Manager for over 22 years at architectural firms throughout his career. Worked on various building types from Churches, Commercial/Industrial Warehouses, Office Buildings, Government projects to include Community Centers, Libraries, County Jail, Corporate Yards and Community/Mental Hospitals. His project management has included the coordination of projects from their conceptual phase through construction administration. George is a prominent figure in the office and is noted for his attention to detail, organization, and excellent communication skills.

Senior Designer

Pete Montanez graduated from Woodbury University School of Architecture with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Pete has 14 years of experience in the field and joined WSCS Design in 2015. Pete is a notable force of our team. His experience in working drawings, concept models and ability to mentor interns is crucial to our success.

Lead Architect

Reuben Wootton graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Design and a Masters Degree in Architecture. Reuben is also licensed with the American Institute of Architects. Reuben has 24 years of experience in the field with experience in custom housing, additions, tenant improvements, commercial grocery stores and industrial design. Reuben joined the WSCS Design team 1 year ago as Lead Architect. Reuben is a quiet, hardworking individual that undoubtedly puts one hundred percent of himself into every project he takes on.

Owner and Principle

Wade Shuey is the Owner and Principle of WSCS Design. Wade graduated from ITT Technical Institute with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design and has 19 years of experience in the field. His experience is vast but not limited to retail centers, custom homes, housing developments, fire stations, industrial and commercial centers, gas stations, car wash, recycling centers and grocery chains. Wade is highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and is well versed in FARO laser scanning. Wade has an excellent rapport with clients and is a natural leader. With Wade’s creative leadership it is an asset that assist’s him in overseeing employees, company performance and the ability to generate strategies, which achieve outcomes that exceed the client’s expectations.
